As announced last week during Our Life Together, First Baptist Church of Charlottesville will be hosting the John A. Broadus Lecture Series, May 6-8.
The theme of this year’s event is “The Doctrine of Salvation” and featured lecturer will be Dr. R. Albert Mohler, Jr. Dr. Mohler serves as the ninth president of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (SBTS) in Louisville, Kentucky.
The schedule of lectures is as follows:
Friday, May 6 – 7:00 p.m.
“Doctrine of Justification”
Saturday, May 7 – 10:00 a.m.
“Doctrine of Sanctification”
Saturday, May 7 – 7:00 p.m.
“Doctrine of Glorification”
Sunday, May 8 – 10:45 a.m. Worship Service
“Taking Responsibility for One’s Growth in Christ “
There will be a time for questions at the end of each lecture on Friday and Saturday.
