A Christ-Centered, Child-Focused Ministry of Jefferson Park

The mission of Jefferson Park Christian Preschool is to assist the family in the training and equipping of their children in fulfilling God’s purpose for their lives. We strive to work as partners with families to provide a safe, healthy, fun-loving Christian environment that is intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically stimulating for each child. We believe this goal is accomplished by using developmentally appropriate practices through child centered and teacher guided play and exploration. Our goal is to provide a program consistent with the highest standards, which will allow each child to develop up to his or her maximum potential while fostering their unique God given qualities. We believe that children are a gift from God. Helping them learn is a divine privilege. We give our best effort to be positive role models that instill Christian values that will help your child through the journey of life.

The Preschool Day

The half-day program, 9:00 am – 12:00 noon, operates from September through May. Classes for children between the ages of 2 1/2 and 5 years are offered. Enrollment is available for two, three, and five-day programs. When current openings are filled, we will maintain a waiting list for any spaces that may open.

Our Staff

Mrs. Andreas is our two-year-olds teacher. She was a member of Jefferson Park Baptist Church for 10 years, and is now worshiping with a newly established church in Gordonsville. Mrs. Andreas brings to our school many years of experience teaching in children’s ministry.

Mrs. Case is our pre-K teacher. She graduated from Fairmont State College and has worked as a children’s ministry intern at Jefferson Park Baptist Church, and had 7 years of experience in early childhood education before joining our preschool staff in 2011. Mrs. Case has been a member of Jefferson Park Baptist Church since 2004

Mrs. Davisson is the director of JPCP and teaches the three-year-olds class. She has been a member of Jefferson Park Baptist Church since 1999 and has been involved with the preschool since 2002. She was a teacher at JPCP before taking on the director’s role in the spring of 2010.
