We praise God that the church is full, and we are in need of more space. We thank those whose contributions allowed the building’s construction in 1963 (pictured above). It continues to be a great blessing to us, and the Lord has used it for much effective ministry. As we hope to make improvements now that will help to see that ministry continue for the next 60 years, please pray for the Lord’s provision and consider supporting us financially!

Our Goal $550,000 $285,000

Phase 1 Renovations

  • Project Goal: $550,000

  • Projected Start Date: June 3, 2024

  • Scope:

    • Fellowship Hall - we believe eating together is an important part of our fellowship, so we’d like to remove the classroom walls to expand our Fellowship Hall space and accommodate everyone. Further, this provides a large enough location for our worship services to take place while subsequent renovations/expansion happens in the Main Hall. We plan to create a consistent ceiling line throughout, install new lighting, flooring, and repaint.

    • Bathrooms - we want to remove any barriers to people feeling comfortable at the church, so we would like to add two ADA, family bathrooms to serve families and aging members well, and in the interest of improving privacy, cleanliness, and usability, we plan to renovate our existing bathrooms with new fixtures and finishes as well. Adding the ADA bathrooms also allows us to expand the Main Hall significantly without having to add bathrooms in Phase 2.

    • Nursery - praise God for many children and the need to expand this space. We also hope general updates & renovations can improve visibility, cleanliness, fun for kids, and our ability to welcome visitors well. Also, we hope the new room with an indoor playground can serve mom’s well during the week.

    • Playground - our outdoor playground provides a good meeting spot for parents and attracts community members to our church. The existing playground is degrading and could become a liability, so we hope to invest in a more permanent solution.

    • Windows - in the interest of making the church more attractive, comfortable, and energy efficient, we plan to replace the 1963 aluminum single pane windows.

    • Main Hallway - we’ll remove some wall by the side entrance to improve flow and visibility and replace the carpet with something easier to keep clean.

    • Classroom B - this is one of our most used spaces throughout the week. We’re glad that many members choose to work or study at church, and young adults enjoy spending time there. The crumbling asbestos tile is hazardous, though, so we hope to replace the flooring, and we’d also like to remove the closet which restricts the size of the space.

Phase 2 Plan

  • Details will be worked out once Phase 1 is complete, but the following architectural renderings give you some ideas about what we’re thinking

  • Preliminary Project Goal: $1,500,000
