Sunday School
Classes begin at 9:15am and are offered in the spring and fall, building up the church by working through topics that touch the Christian life.
Current round (Sep 20 – Oct 25)
God's foundation for marriage
A series of Bible studies on the primary passages related to marriage. This will help believers understand the foundation and framework for the covenant that God has designed.
Growing in God's grace
A survey of how God feeds his children and provides for their spiritual maturity through the means of grace. The class will think through how God has given us gifts that we are to ordinarily use to encourage our hearts in his promises.
Pre-service prayer
Prayer is of the greatest importance for the local church. This group provides a time devoted to praying for the various needs of the church and the service of worship that morning.
Youth: Tough questions
Can we trust the Bible? How could a good God allow evil and suffering? This class will explore common questions and objections regarding the Christian faith and how the Bible answers.
Children and nursery
Nursery for ages 0–2 and children's classes for ages 3–12 run during the Sunday School hour.

Upcoming class (Nov 1 – Nov 22)
Discipleship
What is the Bible's vision for discipleship in Christ's church? How is this lived out at JPBC specifically? The goal of this 4-week, whole-church class is to answer these questions.
Growing in Christlikeness
Sunday School is a place to grow together through focused teaching, discussion, and study of God's Word. Come ready to learn, ask questions, and grow with us.
